Boot Camp Changed My Life—Now I’m Giving Back

Motivation Comes and Goes
A lot of people think they need to feel motivated to get things done. They wait for inspiration
to strike before they take that next step. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from running a
business, raising a family, and coaching others-it’s that motivation is unreliable. You can’t
build your life on a feeling that comes and goes.

The Days That Matter Most
What actually moves the needle is showing up-especially when you don’t feel like it. That’s
when it counts the most. It’s easy to act when everything is clicking, but real growth happens
on the days when it’s tough, when you’re tired, when you’re doubting yourself … and you still
do the work anyway.

Consistency Built My Business
When I started my tree business, I didn’t have a perfect roadmap or a big investor backing
me. I had grit, faith, and a willingness to outwork my circumstances, I showed up every single
day, whether the weather was bad or the job was thankless. That consistency is what got
things moving. Not hype. Not good vibes. Just showing up again and again, long enough to
start seeing results.

You’re Never Really “Ready”
And here’s something most people overlook: you’re never going to feel “ready.” Life is busy,
unpredictable, and sometimes chaotic. If you’re waiting for the perfect time to launch, grow,
or change-good luck. You’ll be stuck forever. The people who move forward in life are the
ones who take action anyway. They work through the fear. They commit before the path is
clear. That’s how momentum is built.

Stack Small Wins

You don’t need to overhaul your life in a single day. You just need to start stacking small wins.
Maybe that means finally sending the email you’ve been avoiding. Maybe it’s waking up 30
minutes earlier. Maybe it’s putting your phone down and being more present with your family.
The size of the action doesn’t matter-what matters is that you’re consistent.

Final Word

So if you’re reading this and you’ve been waiting on the “right time,” this is it. Show up for
yourself. Do it messy. Do it scared. Just do it.

Because your future doesn’t need perfection.
It just needs you to keep showing up.
